LANI ST JULIEN

Multiplatform UX/UI Designer

My Process:  As a UX designer, I embrace the 5 steps of design thinking as a guiding framework, but I also recognize that no two projects are the same. Every team, company, and challenge comes with its own unique needs, so I approach the process with flexibility and adaptability. Whether it’s diving deep into user research, rapidly prototyping, or iterating based on feedback, I tailor my approach to ensure the best possible experience for both users and stakeholders.

The Sims 4 is a life simulation game where players create and control virtual people, called Sims, guiding them through everyday life. You can design their homes, build relationships, pursue careers, and fulfill their dreams.  The Sims 4 has endless customization options and many expansion packs that add to the player experience.

Below are different case studies from various expansion packs I worked on during my time on Sims 4.

Palia is a cozy, multiplayer life-simulation MMO where players can explore a vibrant, open world, build their dream home, and form friendships with NPCs and other players.

Here are some UX designs I crafted for various features and refined while working on Palia, focusing on enhancing player experience, accessibility, and immersive gameplay.
